Bert and Iris Wolstein's impact extended far beyond the bricks and mortar of real estate projects, having donated a substantial amount of time and money to organizations in Ohio and beyond. Bert and Iris served on a number of boards and committees and gave tens of millions of dollars to numerous charitable organizations, lending their name to buildings and programs for United Cerebral Palsy, Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University, University Hospitals and many more.

United Cerebral Palsy
Co-chaired two major fundraising events, raising more than $2.3 million. Lead donor of $750,000 to the organization's new rehabilitation center; the building was named the "Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Center". The Wolstein's were honored at UCP's annual meeting for their extraordinary efforts.

Hebrew University
Lead donor and led the effort to raise the balance of funds needed for the Mt. Scopus Accessibility Project making Hebrew University accessible for the handicapped.

Boulevard Elementary School, Cleveland Heights, Ohio
Lead donors for the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein playground.

Baseball Fields, Macedonia, Ohio
Funded the development of baseball fields in their name.

Ohio State University - Columbus, Ohio
Donated $1,500,000 and established the "Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Football Center" at Horseshoe Stadium

Jewish National Fund - Jerusalem, Isreal
Dedicated the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Tree Planting Center, Jerusalem, Israel

Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University - Cleveland, Ohio
Donated $2,500,000 and established the "Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Hall" at the Cleveland business school
Established the "Iris S. Wolstein Chair in Management Design"

Solomon Schecter Day School
Funded media center/library for the school

Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals - Cleveland, Ohio
Donated $25,000,000 to CWRU and UHHS for the "Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Center"

Cleveland State University Marshall College of Law - Cleveland, Ohio
Donated $6,250,000 toward renovations to the law school. In appreciation, the law school was named the Bert L. Wolstein Hall and the Convocation Center was named the Bert L. and Iris S. Wolstein Center.
